Ting Soda

Ting Soda’s branding and ad campaign is a parody of adverting tropes found in 1950’s and 1960’s advertisements marketing to married women. Specifically white, middle class, married women. They rarely, if ever, featured any women of color. These advertisements stoked fears that a woman’s husband would leave her if she did not buy the product to solve a problem ad said she might have and not even noticed.
